While the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire game show originates in the UK where it is hosted by Chris Tarrant, many consider Amitabh Bachchan to be the best 'who wants to be a millionaire' game show host. The Hindi movie superstar was chosen as the first host of the Indian version of the series - "Kaun Banega Crorepati?", and had huge success, making the program one of the most popular in the whole of South Asia. Though he has since been replaced by another host, many people still consider him to be the real spirit behind the game show.
